Credit Risks

It is unfortunate that small businesses don't have a convenient way of reporting their debtors through the large credit bureaus. To this end we have added this page to hopefully warn others who may be considering doing business with the companies that are currently not meeting their contractual financial obligations to TruckScribers. Currently we only have one client that is not paying:

Gordon*Howard, Associates dba Passtime

Passtime is currently reneging on two contracts. One is for the website they are using and the other is for the GPS tracking unit they market as Passtrax. They also have not paid for two months of hosting costs related to running their servers. Total owed is in excess of $77,000 and parts have been owed since August, 2006.

A complaint was filed with the BBB of Denver, however the BBB did nothing more that suggest we go to court after Passtime filed their last response which didn't really respond. Click on the following link for the complete complaint and the answers in .pdf format.

BBB Complaint with the Passtime Answers

UPDATE!

Apparently someone at Passtime feels that the information about their overdue accounts should not be made available to anyone. Wonder if they send these types of letters to credit bureaus?

Here is the TruckScribers response.

We particularly enjoyed their claim that the agreement was terminated months ago. Apparently they feel that if they have a contract and they don't want to pay what is owed, they can declare that it is terminated and not owe the money!
