Adaptor Drop in Replacement for 14 or 60 pin Skybility AMPS Radios
Adaptor 14 pin model
The Adaptor is designed to provide a user of either the 60 pin CMM89xx, 14 pin Skybility or older Standard radios with a means of easily converting their application from AMPS to GSM. The form factor, antenna connector placement and 14 pin
connector placement is exactly the same as the older AMPS radios. Only 5 lines
are used, power, ground, transmit, receive and reset. Adaptor has a power regulator to convert whatever is
provided on the host unit to the required voltage of the radio. A user must change or have changed the firmware in their device to use the command set of the Enfora or AnyData radio. TruckScribers can assist you in adding the proper radio instructions to your firmware, if needed. TruckScribers will also assist any user in getting the applicable approvals to allow their units onto the digital networks.
